It’s been nearly two years since i uploaded this video and I’ve received mix responses. I did the video as a silent rebellion towards all the boys who were taking advantage of my old friends just because they were dressed a certain way. My beautiful friends were no longer beautiful but changing themselves in order to be liked and it broke my heart but also changed my life because I wanted no part of it. And yet, it’s true. Even now, my boyfriend doesn’t find much interest in me unless I look “hot”. And all the while, there’s no one to blame but ourselves. So, as a “rebellion”, I opted to attempt to expose to males that this happens. And here is the superficial process. Don’t get me or any female wrong, I love dressing up and getting pretty – just not for mutual love and affection, something that should always be internal.
