Some believe Paul was murdered. He wasnt feeling depressed, more like guilt. Paul was making a comeback. The gunshot was found in the left side of his head, but the gun in his right hand and the bottle in his left hand, even the family has questions about Paul’s death

I have never heard a falsetto greater than Eddie Kendricks
I havent even heard tenor voice as perfect as Melvin’s
I havent heard a beautiful but rough voice like Paul Williams either!

I was only 10 when they became my favorites and now I’m 56 and I still love them…
I hear all the time their songs and it’s nice to do. Reminds me about a beautiful past I never was a part of, because I’m white and live in Germany. But I took part of by buying over more than 3 decades their records, what I never regret. May they all rest in peace – never ever heard again a falsetto sopran like Eddies…

omg paul williams had sickle cell i have sickle cell n it is somthing that gets me down some times n im only 17 n have 2 deal wit alot of stress because of it

Paul Williams did …
Paul Williams did commit suicide. The suicide was a result of his depression over the sickle cell, his drinking and an “alledged” affair. He was found behind the house dead of a gun shot. The movie didn’t portray a number of things right, but in this case they were right about his death although maybe not the reasons. The were wrong about Ruffin, not found dead in the streets, died in the hospital. I know bec. I was alive during this time and they were reported on. So sad, what a loss.

Its been said that Paul didnt kill himself.Check out his family’s site.Paul hooked up with David and Eddie and they were singing together.That movie aint accurate. Paul recorded two songs by himself entitled Once You Had A Heart and Feel Like Giving Up. Paul wasnt sitting around being depressed,he was still singing,Paulw as making a comeback.Thats why the news of him dying shocked alot of people

he killed himself for more reasons than that, he was also suffering depression from family issues and the fat the he had that sickle cell disease that got worst wiehter he drank or not
