Dove non-scented , sensitive skin, hypoallergenic, beauty bar treat acne just as well as facial clensers?
I am thinking about switching to a soap (such as Dove hypoallergenic, unscented beauty bar) instead of a facial clenser such as Clearasil. What are your thoughts?
No, it doesn’t. Dove’s products are intended for dry skin, not acne-prone skin. They don’t contain any ingredients that fight acne. In fact, the heavy moisturizer in Dove soaps that help those with dry skin would probably cause break-outs in someone with oily/acne-prone skin. Facial cleansers for acne contain specific ingredients like salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, or sulfur to treat break-outs and control oiliness.

How do you determine if a beauty product will irritate sensitive skin?
I got a set of Clairins beauty products and i need to know whether or not they will irritate my sensitive skin. Is there an ingredient that i should beware of ? I don’t want to just TEST the products, if there’s a way i can know beforehand i would appreciate it.
I’m not sure about this, but you could always try puttng a little patch on your cheeks and see how that does.
